A Time in the Old Hall with From Stage to Stage and Sherman Downey

The Christmas variety concert has long been a highly anticipated event on the social calendar of communities both large and small. For generations, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians of all ages have been gathering in community halls to take the stage to sing of the season or “say their piece”. Now after a year’s hiatus, one of our finest songwriters gets back together with the group that has helped keep the Newfoundland recitation a part of our lives. Sherman Downey along with From Stage to Stage’s Dave Paddon, Harry Ingram, Dave Penny and Hubert Furey will bring a full repertoire of seasonal material to the LSPU Hall stage.
